Researching environmental and social impacts of food items
Identify a food item of your choice and undertake a web search to understand the environmental and/or social impacts associated with its production and consumption.
Prepare a mini essay outline on your blog of approximately 300 words, including a critical analysis (i.e. what problems occur when trying to identify environmental and social impacts? what are the shortcomings of research/concepts in this area to date?).
Share the link to your essay plan with your peers via the discussion forum. Read at least one peers’ contribution and give feedback using part 1 of the assessment marking rubric. Make sure you give feedback to someone who has yet to receive it.
